I included only two main ingredients in my drink, but what ones! Cucumber is 95% water, and parsley is rich in vitamins and antioxidants. Parsley, like other greens, will help cleanse your liver of toxins. This amazing combination of benefits and freshness will not leave anyone indifferent.

I flavored this smoothie a little with spices, which made it a little more piquant and original. Everyone has long known about the wonderful properties of red pepper. The components that make up it actively break down fats accumulated by the body, and metabolism accelerates.

Ingredients

(for one glass)

  • 1 bunch of parsley
  • 2 cucumbers
  • a few lettuce leaves (optional)
  • a pinch of chili powder or cayenne pepper
  • a pinch of ground coriander

How to cook

  1. First of all, wash the cucumbers. If you wish, you can cut off the skin, but I did not do this, since it is in it that the main accumulation of vitamins and microelements is located. Therefore, if the peel does not taste bitter, then I see no point in getting rid of it in vain. The bitterness itself is mainly located in the “butt” of the cucumber, so you can only cut off this part.
  2. Cut the cucumber into arbitrary pieces. There is no point in grinding it too much, since cucumbers can easily be crushed in any blender.
  3. I throw this particular component into the blender first, since cucumbers are quite watery and after blending they provide the liquid needed for a smoothie.
  4. Rinse the parsley well with water, repeating this procedure several times. Then blot up any excess drops with a paper towel. If you have a powerful blender, then you can throw the parsley into the bowl directly with the sprigs. Otherwise, you can separate the parsley leaves or chop it with a knife to make it easier to grind. So, add parsley to the cucumber mixture, add a pinch of ground coriander, turn on the blender at full power and beat the mixture for about 1 minute.
  5. At the very end of preparing this smoothie, I decided to add more greens and threw a few green salad leaves into the half-finished drink. The taste of the smoothie has remained virtually unchanged, but my drink has become an order of magnitude healthier. If desired, you can add any sweet and sour fruit, such as apples, to the cocktail.
  6. Pour the smoothie into a glass container, garnish with herbs, and sprinkle with ground red pepper.
