Splat toothpaste 0 3. Children's toothpaste Splat - Junior and Juicy series

Greetings to all who visit!

Oral hygiene is necessary not only for adults, but also for the smallest, no less important family members. With the advent of the first tooth, I, like many mothers, was in search of a quality cleanser (albeit still small, but growing up!).

It is important to me that baby toothpaste is safe to swallow, has a harmless composition, tastes good for the baby and gently cleans and cares for children's teeth.

Splat has new items - Baby toothpastes (from 0 to 3 years old) . I'll talk about flavored pasta" apple-banana ".

You can buy in pharmacies and shops in the city, or order on the official website. The cost is 156 rubles.

Pasta is produced in a cardboard box with a bright children's design.

The kit includes a silicone fingertip brush, which will be a faithful assistant in cleaning the very first teeth. It gently cleanses, does not injure and massages the gums.

We used a similar brush about a year ago, and now we have switched to soft children's brushes suitable for age.

She can easily replace the teether: if mom puts it on her finger, she can scratch itchy gums, massage, thereby facilitating the process of teething. Now my child is not bad and she copes with this device (yes, we are not all 20 yet ...).

Let's move on to tuba.

There is a protective foil.

The lid is a flip-top. This format of toothpaste is the most convenient for me - I don’t like to unscrew the caps.

Description of active components.

Since the process of spitting toothpaste in children has not yet been worked out (someone still does not know how, someone is learning), it is important to pay attention to the manufacturer's instructions on safety when swallowed.

For a child, a small pea of paste is required. Its color is white, has a pleasant, fruity aroma, weak. The taste is delicate, a banana is well felt, a little apple. But some "zest" adds licorice extract.

For me personally, JUICY Ice Cream turned out to be more delicious, but the child, as it seemed, did not care at all (we are 1.11).

The paste gently helps to clean children's teeth from plaque, it does not cope with adults, it does not refresh the breath (no wonder). It did not cause an allergic reaction or any other undesirable phenomena.

Foaming is weak.

SPLAT Baby toothpaste (from 0-3 years old) can be a pleasant and, most importantly, useful addition to a gift for a baby and his young parents. And next time we will take something else, especially since the manufacturer has an excellent selection of oral care products for a child. And most importantly - safety and variety of tastes!

Thank you for your attention to the feedback.

Somehow, unexpectedly quickly, the child ran out of pasta. Previously, brushing my teeth took place under my strict guidance: I myself squeezed the paste onto his brush, he brushed, and then I took his brush and brushed my teeth a little more myself. But when he started brushing his teeth on his own, our consumption increased not even twice, but at least three times. Therefore, I was not ready that the pasta would end so quickly. Still, my pea-sized portion of pasta clearly loses to the path of pasta for almost the entire length of the brush. There was no pasta in stock, so I placed an order in IM, but while I was waiting for the parcel, I went shopping with the hope of the best

What caught my eye was that the shelves of shops and pharmacies were bursting with bright tubes of pastes with cartoon characters: Winx, Smeshariki, Spider-Man ... of course, there are pastes in calm packages, but they have compositions. I would buy children's Rocks with linden extract, which has a shelf life of only one month, but I didn’t find it, I was already ready for Siberica Biberica (I don’t like Natura Siberica for the fragrances used), as they say, they choose the lesser of two evils, but this one I didn't find any pasta on the shelves. In the pharmacy, one box attracted me. Bioactive toothpaste from Splat. I don’t really trust the pastes of this company, I know that the adult paste contains critical ingredients, but after reading the composition, nothing alerted me, except for cocamidopropyl betaine, I know that the service rates it at three 🍏🍏🍏, but the inscription 99.3% Natural convinced that the paste can be trusted and the three-apple cocamidopropyl betaine I thought would be the worst ingredient.

Look at the box. Everything is very sweet and gentle. Wonderful kids, a heart in which the manufacturer's logo flaunts, multi-colored letters and an inscription, no INSCRIPTION 99.3% natural.

The back of the box is in English.

Effective protection against caries and help with teething. It's a miracle, a miracle, but! For an older child, protection against caries is good, and for a younger child, help with teething. What kind of help? How and how can toothpaste help with teething? Ease the pain? Will your teeth come out faster? Calgel relieves pain for 20 minutes, but what can paste do? In my opinion, nothing.

Bioactive toothpaste is designed for the first milk teeth and is suitable for children up to three years.

On the other side of the box we read that the paste contains extracts of chamomile, calendula, prickly pear and aloe vera gel. And how do you like the innovative patented system.

There is paste inside the box. The tube is made of soft plastic. The volume of the paste is small, only 40 ml. On the tube we read that the paste is 99.3% natural, hypoallergenic and safe to swallow.

It's not just pasta, it's a set. There was also a silicone fingertip inside the box. There was a paste and a fingertip on a white plastic substrate, but she did not "live" before the photo shoot

On the reverse side we see some information from the box.

Silicone fingertip is designed to clean the first teeth.

The paste is very thick and dense. It takes a little effort to squeeze it out of the tube.

The color of the paste is milky white with a grayish tint.

It's time to look at the ingredients: hydrogenated starch hydrolysate, aqua, dicalcium phosphate dihydrate, hydrated silica, glycerin, xanthan gum, potassium thiocyanate, lactoferrin, lactoperoxidase, glucose oxidase, glucose pentaacetate, aloe barbadensis leaf extract, opuntia ficus- indica flower extract, lonicera japonica flower extract, dipotassium glycyrrhizate, cocamidopropyl betain, o-cymen-5-ol, glycyrrhiza glabra root extract, vaccinium oxycoccos fruit extract, vanilla planifolia fruit extract, chamomilla recutita extract, calendula officinalis extract, arginine.

What can I say

And I was hoping that only cocamidopropyl betaine would be with the lowest rating.

No matter what anyone says, but in the products that my children use, I am against the fact that there are ingredients even in three points. Especially when it is toothpaste, especially if it is intended for the smallest. After all, kids can easily swallow it.

Let's see what potassium thiocyanate is fraught with.

Cocamidopropyl Betaine

And the ingredient that got two points

The unidentified ingredient glucose pentaacetate is an emulsion stabilizer.

So the manufacturer says the paste is safe to swallow. I do not want my children to use such dubious products that can cause irritation and allergic reactions.

First application

Used the paste with the child. It's terrible how she smells. This is not the strawberry Logona with its amazing smell and taste, which is easily squeezed out by a child's pen onto a toothbrush. The paste is thick and hard to come out of the tube. Of course, the smell is nasty, but maybe it will taste better, oh no, not better, the pasta made me urge. She doesn't enjoy brushing her teeth. The paste foams quite strongly - a little less than the usual adult paste (natural, of course), but the foam quickly falls off and it is not dense, airy.

For comparison, adult paste (yellow) and children's Vanilla. I tried to use the same amount of paste.

Foaming in the nursery is less, but I still consider it strong. I am not a fan of foamy pastes, maybe someone likes the abundance of foam in the mouth, but I don’t, I have lost the habit, because natural pastes do not foam so abundantly. Although if you take the paste from Natura Siberica Frosty Berries, then there is such a foaming that I had to brush my teeth with a paste smaller than a pea, but brushing my teeth did not bring pleasure, because the taste of the paste is soapy-unnatural-berry.

The paste disappointed both in composition and taste, but what to do, the children had to brush their teeth with it for about a week. True, brushing my teeth was not twice as it should be, but brushed my teeth only before going to bed to minimize contact with the paste. She explained that the composition is bad and that the paste needs to be squeezed out onto the brush very little. An older niece, still picky, so she brushed her teeth a couple of times with this paste, then refused to brush her teeth. She brushed her teeth with adult toothpaste, and for the first teeth of my baby, I didn’t even think of taking the risk of brushing her teeth. As it turned out, the taste, smell and foaming are not all the minuses - the tube turned out to have a very tight cap. Holding the tube in my hand and trying to flip the cap off with my thumb, I did it with little effort. She opens up a little and that's it. I, an adult, managed to open the paste with one finger, but with effort. She conducted an experiment: she gave a tube of paste to her niece to open the cap of the paste. On the fourth attempt, the lid succumbed. She closed it and let it open again, now her teeth are used, she says when it doesn’t open, you can open it like that. Opening something with your teeth is not good. My child tried to open the paste with his hands, but could not. He walked over to the washing machine, held the cap up to a flat surface, and pulled the tube down. That's what I was surprised, but the goal is achieved, the pasta is open.

It looks like this - the lid opens slightly and, unfortunately, it does not open with a slight upward movement of the finger.

Accordingly, if the lid is hard to open, then it is hard to close. You need to press hard so that the lid closes until it clicks.

Neither my kids nor I liked the pasta.

Critical ingredient in the composition

Of the positive aspects with the purchase of this set, I can only single out a silicone fingertip - this is a good and necessary thing for the first children's teeth.

Do not buy this paste for your children, because there are very good children's pastes, with natural ingredients and pleasant tastes, even if they are more expensive, but we choose the best for our children!

When purchasing toothpaste for children, it is necessary to take into account that it does not contain harmful substances, has a cariostatic and strengthening effect on the enamel, and also has an attractive taste. Most companies make pastes for children of any age category. Now you can find a huge range of this product, but sometimes it can be very difficult to make the right choice.

Toothpastes for children should take into account the structural features of children's teeth

Characteristics of the composition of children's toothpaste

Particular attention should be paid to the composition of toothpaste. It should not contain such substances:

  1. Antiseptics (triclosan, metronidazole and chlorhexidine). Together with harmful bacteria, they destroy the natural microflora in the mouth. The use of pastes, where this substance is present, leads to a decrease in the protective function of the oral cavity. If you do not find an ingredient in the product, look for the word "TOTAL", which indicates the presence of some kind of antiseptic. It is better to refuse to buy such a paste.
  2. Foaming agents (sodium lauryl sulfate SLS, E487). They are detergents that are obtained from coconut oil using chemical synthesis. These substances pose a serious danger and are part of almost all cosmetic products. Most companies pass them off as a natural ingredient, indicating instead of the real name - "obtained from coconuts."
  3. Preservatives, among which there are sodium benzoate, parabens, benzyl alcohol, as well as the substance due to which the paste becomes viscous - propylene glycol (PEG-32, PEG-40. All of them are the strongest carcinogens.
  4. Sugar (sorbitol, glucose, sucrose), as it contributes to the creation of favorable conditions for the reproduction of bacteria in the mouth.

Lauryl sulfate is an aggressive foaming agent that is dangerous for the child's body.

Substances that do not pose a threat to the health of the baby:

  1. water;
  2. glycerol;
  3. xanthan gum;
  4. sorbitol;
  5. titanium dioxide.

These components affect the density and appearance of the paste. For example, xanthan gum acts as a food additive to thicken and gel. Thanks to the addition of water, glycerin, or sorbitol, the paste does not dry out in an open tube. Titanium dioxide gives a rich white tint.

Main active ingredients

The main active ingredients contained in children's toothpaste include:

  • Dicalcium Phosphate Dihydrate (dicalcium phosphate dihydrate, DDKF). Gently acts on the enamel of the teeth, without disturbing it, carefully removes plaque on the teeth. Upon contact of this substance with saliva, calcium and phosphorus ions are produced, which allow to restore the hard enamel tissue.
  • Xylitol (xylitol). Helps eliminate caries or prevent its occurrence. Thanks to xylitol, minerals are absorbed faster by tooth enamel and harmful bacteria in the mouth are destroyed. According to studies, a 10% concentration of xylitol has a great effect. As an exception, the concentration of xylitol reaches 12%.

Xylitol is responsible for preventing cavities
  • Calcium Glycerophosphate (calcium glycerophosphate), Calcium Citrate (calcium citrate), Magnesium chloride (magnesium chloride). These substances help to saturate the surface of the enamel, strengthen its structure, and also have an anti-caries effect.
  • Hydrated Silica. Acts gently, eliminates plaque without damaging tooth enamel.
  • zinc citrate. It has an antibacterial effect, eliminates bad breath.
  • Sodium monofluorophosphate. It helps to strengthen the hard tissues of the oral cavity, thereby increasing the protective function of the teeth from the action of dangerous acids.
  • Calcium carbonate. Well cleans the oral cavity from soft deposits on the teeth, has a strengthening effect. Unlike dicalcium phosphate dihydrate, calcium carbonate has the strongest effect, as a result of which pastes containing it are recommended for use in children older than 3 years.
  • Aminofluoride is a form of fluorine of organic origin. It takes 20 seconds to create a reliable protective barrier on the tooth surface. This is of great importance, because most kids do not like to brush their teeth for 3 minutes, as expected.

Parents often face the question: should children's toothpaste be with fluoride? Fluorine is a big threat if swallowed, so you should not buy such pastes for children under two or three years old. Older children are allowed to use pastes where fluorine is present in a small volume and organic form in the form of olaflur or aminofluoride.

Since children often taste toothpaste, the content of fluoride in it is not welcome.

It is advisable to abandon the pastes containing abrasives, as there is a risk that too hard particles will adversely affect the child's vulnerable enamel. Toothpaste for children should not be with fluoride and any abrasives.

Rating of toothpastes for children

  • 1st place is occupied by pasta produced by Lakalut;
  • 2nd place goes to President;
  • 3rd place is given to the products of the company Splat;
  • 4th place is occupied by Rox;
  • 5th place - Silca;
  • 6th place is occupied by Weleda products;
  • 7th place goes to Elmex.

The best advice for parents is to show the baby to the dentist and get advice from him on the selection of paste. The specialist will advise it, taking into account the individual characteristics of the child's oral cavity.

The ideal toothpaste is the one recommended by the dentist

Lacalut pastes are made in Germany. Their advantage lies in reasonable price and high quality. The composition contains aminofluoride, fluorine and vitamins A and E. Aminofluoride helps to strengthen tooth enamel, and also forms a protection on the tooth surface in the form of a film, under which fluoride continues to be absorbed for a long time after application. The enamel mineralizes, which makes it possible to cure caries at the white spot stage.

Fluorine is present in a small amount, not exceeding the norm. The paste does not contain sodium lauryl sulfate, so it is not at all capable of harming children's health. Products for different age categories are endowed with a variety of flavors:

  • 0-4 years "LACALUT baby" with raspberry flavor. Suitable just for milk teeth.
  • 4-8 years "LACALUT kids 4+" with citrus flavor. It is characterized by the presence of fluorine in the composition of aminofluoride, which is necessary to prevent the formation of caries.
  • 8-12 years "LACALUT teens 8+" with citrus-mint flavor. It has a gel-like structure with multi-colored microcapsules. The paste is characterized by the presence of aminofluoride and sodium fluoride in the permitted therapeutic dose. The paste can be used as a prophylaxis against caries, as well as in its treatment at the initial stage of the white spot. The tool is approved by the German Society of Dentists.

The President's products are made in Italy. A fluoride-free toothpaste that allows children from birth to age 3 to brush their teeth without fear of accidental swallowing. Xylitol promotes the breakdown of food acids in the oral cavity and has a cariostatic effect. Products for children from six years of age are endowed with a less pronounced effect. Gel-like paste from 6 to 12 years old is made just for children prone to caries and is characterized by a large amount of fluorine in the form of fluoride and monofluorophosphate.

There are the following pastes of the company President:

  • "PRESIDENT Baby 0-3" with raspberry flavor. Characterized by low abrasiveness.
  • "PRESIDENT Kids" 3-6 years old with a taste of Cola.
  • "PresiDENTJunior 6+" 6-12 years old with lime flavor.
  • From 12 years "PRESIDENT Teens 12+" with mint flavor. It is characterized by a good composition, abrasiveness is slightly less than average. You can take care of the permanent teeth of children in their teens.

Splat

Country of production - Russia. Splat pastes can be selected for children of different age categories. They contain hydroxyapatite, a combination of components (lysozyme, lactoferrin, glucose oxidase, lactoperoxidase) and various additional substances. All Splat pastes are made without fluorine, sodium lauryl sulfate and parabens. The only exceptions are products made for children from 3 to 8 years old.

There are several Splat toothpastes:

  • SPLAT Juicy Set. Effectively saturates tooth enamel with calcium. Children's toothpaste SPLAT Juicy can be used by both children and adults, as the composition does not contain harmful components.
  • "SPLAT Junior 0-4". Made for kids up to four years of age. The paste is available in the form of foam, there is no danger if swallowed. It contains a combination of substances that enhance the protective function of the oral mucosa, which can prevent the appearance of stomatitis.
  • SPLAT Junior 3-8. It has a varied composition. There is fluorine in the form of aminofluoride, calcium, a combination of substances that enhance the protective functions of the oral mucosa. However, the simultaneous content of fluorine and calcium leads to the fact that when their ions are combined, an insoluble salt is formed that does not bring any benefit to the teeth.

SPLAT Juicy children's toothpaste deserves special attention. It is presented with children's favorite flavors: with the taste of fruits, chocolate, ice cream. In addition, this toothpaste has a very bright and attractive packaging that kids love. The paste will perfectly restore and strengthen the solid structure of the teeth, help prevent the occurrence of caries and plaque. Suitable for any child age.

ROCS

The company is quite widespread. Rox pastes contain calcium glycerophosphate, xylitol, alginate, herbal extracts, as well as linden and chamomile extracts. The tool is characterized by low abrasiveness and has a good therapeutic effect. Due to the fact that there are no preservatives in the composition, it is allowed to use the opened tube for 30 days, then it is recommended to get rid of the remaining contents and purchase a new paste. An unopened tube of paste can be stored for up to 2 years.

In addition to the product, the package contains a small coloring book and a calendar game so that the baby knows when to brush his teeth. The only negative of this company is the high price.

There are several Rox toothpastes known:

  • "ROCS - PRO Baby". Not dangerous if swallowed. Made for kids up to 3 years old.
  • "ROCS Baby - fragrant chamomile" for children up to three years old. The disadvantage is the lack of components aimed at strengthening tooth enamel, for example, calcium. In addition, it does not include fluorine, so it does not have an anti-caries effect. It is advisable to use it at the moment when the teeth are being cut, since the components contained in it are aimed at protecting not the teeth, but the gums.
  • "ROCS kids - berry fantasy" for kids from 4 to 7 years old with a raspberry and strawberry flavor.
  • "ROCS kids - barberry" for kids from 3 to 7 years old. This children's toothpaste is fluoride-free, so it can be used in places where drinking water is rich in fluoride. The paste is characterized by the presence of a calcium compound to strengthen the enamel, as well as xylitol to neutralize acids.

Silca

German-made pasta, inexpensive. Approved by the German Society of Dentists.

This company produces the following pastes:

  • SILCAMED range
    • 0+ BABY - for the first teeth.
    • 2+ with extracts of sage, linden, chamomile (depending on the form of release). Pastes are available in different flavors: apple, strawberry, cola, chewing gum.
  • 1-5 years "SILCA Putzi - banana". Endowed with low abrasiveness. The composition does not contain dyes, sodium lauryl sulfate, so you can not be afraid if the child accidentally swallows the paste. It is recommended to use such a paste without fluorine and calcium alternately with other products that contain calcium glycerophosphate or aminofluoride.
  • 2-12 years "SILCA Putzi - orange". It has a low abrasiveness, you can clean both milk and permanent teeth (we recommend reading:). The composition contains fluorine in the form of sodium fluoride. You should be aware that pastes containing fluoride are undesirable for a child under five years of age if he is not susceptible to caries. It is better to make a choice in favor of a remedy with calcium.

Weleda Calendula Gel is suitable for babies up to three years old. Its active ingredients include essential oils and alginate, which have an anti-inflammatory effect. The tool is most effective when the child is teething. Thanks to the abrasive-polishing components, milk teeth are cleaned of microbes. The gel is completely safe, so do not worry if the child accidentally swallows it. Since this product does not contain fluorine and calcium, you need to choose another paste where calcium glycerophosphate or aminofluoride is present and alternate their use.

Elmex

The Colgate company is engaged in the manufacture of such funds. The country of origin is China. The content of aminofluoride is within the therapeutic dosage, and dyes and preservatives are absent. It is inexpensive, but dangerous if swallowed, as it contains fluorine in excess.

There are the following children's toothpastes from Colgate:

  • "Elmex for children" is used for cleaning milk teeth. Thanks to aminofluoride, it is well suited as a preventive measure.
  • Elmex Junior. Aminofluoride is in a therapeutic dose, so its action is aimed at protecting teeth from caries, as well as treating the initial stage of the white spot.

It is important to choose the best remedy for your crumbs. Follow all the recommendations, pay attention that the paste contains no harmful substances and fluorine in inorganic form. Do everything you can to ensure that your child has healthy and strong teeth. It is always nice to look at a photo with a beautiful smile, especially if your blood is captured on it!

I wrote that the youngest (2 years old) brushes his teeth himself, though without toothpaste. And one young mother wrote in the comments that they brush their teeth with toothpaste, but not with a toothbrush, but with a special fingertip.

And what do you think, I urgently needed this fingertip and super safe toothpaste for my youngest. The search was short-lived, I found both a paste and a fingertip brush on the website of a well-known splat company. I think everyone has heard about their toothpastes for adults, and here is a series for kids.

Place of purchase: online store splat.

Full title: Bioactive toothpaste splat for children 0-3 years vanilla

Price: 157 rub.

We open the box, and there! Surprise - complete with children's toothpaste splat there is also a fingertip brush. All this is in the box, each in its place. Nothing wobbles or falls out. I think that such a set can even be given, for the first tooth of a baby, be sure that parents will appreciate such care on your part.

I'll tell you first about toothpaste. Because we buy it, but the brush comes as a present))

The tube of toothpaste is made of soft plastic, does not slip even when the child holds it with wet hands. The lid opens rather tight - my two-year-old can not cope with it. I have to help him, and this annoys him terribly, he wants to be independent in everything

What should this children's toothpaste do:

EFFECTIVE PROTECTION AGAINST CARIES AND HELP WITH TEETH

A unique soft cleaning base close to the composition of tooth enamel (dicalcium phosphate dihydrate) destroys soft plaque and allows you to clean children's enamel without damage, and licorice extract, as part of the LUCTATOL® complex, prevents its re-formation by 96%.

Also, the official website says that this toothpaste is suitable for children from 0-3 years old. Safe to swallow- and this is very important when choosing a children's toothpaste. Especially if it's the first one.

Still very interesting fact was It is written on the toothpaste that it reduces the sensitivity of children's teeth during eruption. We could not check this part, since the baby has already grown up and his new teeth crawl out painlessly.

It is also written that the toothpaste is 99.3% natural, of course I want to believe in it.

On the other side are listed all sorts of useful ingredients that are included in the composition.

Active ingredients:

  • LUCTATOL® Innovative Caries Protection System - The combination of Japanese licorice tree extract and lactic ferments breaks down the shells of cariogenic bacteria, keeps breath fresh and slows down the formation of plaque. Reduces the risk of cavities and prevents plaque by 96%
  • Calcium hydroxyapatite (nHap), similar in composition to tooth enamel, provides intensive strengthening of children's tooth enamel.
  • L-Arginine reduces gum sensitivity during teething and has an anti-inflammatory effect due to L-Arginine and plant extracts of chamomile, calendula, yarrow, cranberry and prickly pear and aloe vera gel.

cream toothpaste, almost no smell. This is what it looks like on the brush.

♡♡♡ Now, as for the presentation - the fingertip brush.♡♡♡

The package says that Before using the fingertip brush for the first time, you must first boil it! This is very important, do not miss this moment.

The brush is transparent and very soft. On one side there are silicone bristles, and on the other side there are just convex dots. I understand that one side is for brushing teeth and massaging children's gums, and the other side is for cleaning the tongue.

I liked the quality of silicone - it did not turn yellow in a month of use.

On my index finger, the fingertip brush does not hold very tightly, sometimes it slips off.

♡♡♡How do we brush children's teeth?♡♡♡

The experience of using the brush suggests that my baby has already grown out of this age when it would be possible to massage his gums or brush his teeth. My stubborn independent baby refused to let me brush his teeth. Therefore, he himself takes a silicone fingertip and brushes his teeth, still without toothpaste. He really likes to "scratch" his teeth with them.

I think such a silicone fingertip brush is suitable for younger kids - when they happily open their mouths so that mom massages their teeth during teething. And also for kids who like to chew on something, for example, a parent's finger)) But it is not recommended to leave such a fingertip and a child unattended - situations are different and it is better for parents to control everything.

And sometimes, kid brushing teeth with toothpaste. Let not with this brush, but on his own! Now I take the most ordinary children's toothbrush from the same splat, squeeze toothpaste into it and my baby simultaneously brushes his teeth with his older brother to the drum roll. When the drums begin to beat harder and faster, the baby should spit out the paste. And it looks like we're getting off to a good start.

I think if it weren't for this toothpaste, which is considered safe to swallow, my two-year-old child would have consoled himself with hopes that someday his mother would allow him to brush his teeth like an adult, with toothpaste!

P.S. Have you ever brushed your teeth with baby toothpaste? Yes, I always try their pasta myself. This pasta tastes sweet, slightly foamy. It tastes like a sweet pill with a slight bitter aftertaste. And it seems precisely because of this aftertaste that it seems that the teeth are clean. Protects even adult teeth.

That's the kind of mom I'm an experimenter

☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆

We draw a conclusion :

  • toothpaste is safe to swallow
  • the price is adequate
  • you can buy without leaving home
  • almost no smell
  • foams medium
  • Includes silicone brush
  • there is hope that toothpaste will really protect the baby's teeth from caries

I hope my review will be useful to you and you will make the right choice.

FAQ

First of all, one that does not hurt the gums during use. At the same time, the quality of oral hygiene depends more on whether the teeth are brushed correctly than on the shape or type of toothbrush. As for electric brushes, for uninformed people they are the preferred option; although you can brush your teeth with a simple (manual) brush. In addition, a toothbrush alone is often not enough - flosses (special dental floss) should be used to clean between the teeth.

Rinses are additional hygiene products that effectively clean the entire oral cavity from harmful bacteria. All these funds can be divided into two large groups - therapeutic and prophylactic and hygienic.

The latter include rinses that eliminate unpleasant odors and promote fresh breath.

As for therapeutic and prophylactic, these include rinses that have an anti-plaque / anti-inflammatory / anti-caries effect and help reduce the sensitivity of hard dental tissues. This is achieved due to the presence in the composition of various kinds of biologically active components. Therefore, the rinse must be selected for each individual on an individual basis, as well as toothpaste. And in view of the fact that the product is not washed off with water, it only consolidates the effect of the active components of the paste.

Such cleaning is completely safe for dental tissues and less injures the soft tissues of the oral cavity. The fact is that in dental clinics a special level of ultrasonic vibrations is selected, which affects the density of the stone, disrupts its structure and separates it from the enamel. In addition, in places where tissues are treated with an ultrasonic scaler (this is the name of the device for cleaning teeth), a special cavitation effect occurs (after all, oxygen molecules are released from water droplets, which enter the treatment zone and cool the tip of the instrument). The cell membranes of pathogenic microorganisms are torn by these molecules, causing the microbes to die.

It turns out that ultrasonic cleaning has a complex effect (provided that really high-quality equipment is used) both on the stone and on the microflora as a whole, cleaning it. And you can't say the same about mechanical cleaning. Moreover, ultrasonic cleaning is more pleasant for the patient and takes less time.

According to dentists, dental treatment should be carried out regardless of your position. Moreover, a pregnant woman is recommended to visit a dentist every one to two months, because, as you know, when carrying a baby, the teeth are significantly weakened, they suffer from a deficiency of phosphorus and calcium, and therefore the risk of caries or even tooth loss increases significantly. For the treatment of pregnant women, it is necessary to use harmless anesthesia. The most suitable course of treatment should be selected exclusively by a qualified dentist, who will also prescribe the required preparations that strengthen tooth enamel.

Treating wisdom teeth is quite difficult due to their anatomical structure. However, qualified specialists successfully treat them. Prosthetics of wisdom teeth is recommended when one (or several) neighboring teeth are missing or need to be removed (if you also remove a wisdom tooth, then there will simply be nothing to chew on). In addition, the removal of a wisdom tooth is undesirable if it is located in the correct place in the jaw, has its own antagonist tooth and takes part in the chewing process. You should also take into account the fact that poor-quality treatment can lead to the most serious complications.

Here, of course, much depends on the taste of the person. So, there are absolutely invisible systems attached to the inside of the teeth (known as lingual), and there are also transparent ones. But the most popular are still metal braces with colored metal / elastic ligatures. It's really trendy!

Let's start with the fact that it's just unattractive. If this is not enough for you, we give the following argument - the stone and plaque on the teeth often provoke bad breath. And that's not enough for you? In this case, we move on: if the tartar “grows”, this will inevitably lead to irritation and inflammation of the gums, that is, it will create favorable conditions for periodontitis (a disease in which periodontal pockets form, pus constantly flows out of them, and the teeth themselves become mobile). ). And this is a direct path to the loss of healthy teeth. Moreover, the number of harmful bacteria at the same time increases, due to which there is an increased cariousness of the teeth.

The service life of an accustomed implant will be tens of years. According to statistics, at least 90 percent of implants function perfectly 10 years after installation, while the service life is on average 40 years. Tellingly, this period will depend both on the design of the product and on how carefully the patient takes care of it. That is why it is imperative to use an irrigator during cleaning. In addition, it is necessary to visit the dentist at least once a year. All these measures will significantly reduce the risk of implant loss.

Removal of a tooth cyst can be performed by a therapeutic or surgical method. In the second case, we are talking about the extraction of a tooth with further cleaning of the gums. In addition, there are those modern methods that allow you to save the tooth. This is, first of all, cystectomy - a rather complicated operation, which consists in removing the cyst and the affected root tip. Another method is hemisection, in which the root and a fragment of the tooth above it are removed, after which it (part) is restored with a crown.

As for the therapeutic treatment, it consists in cleaning the cyst through the root canal. It is also a difficult option, especially not always effective. Which method to choose? This will be decided by the doctor together with the patient.

In the first case, professional systems based on carbamide peroxide or hydrogen peroxide are used to change the color of teeth. Obviously, it is better to give preference to professional bleaching.
