PRECAUTIONS

SAMPLE COLLECTION AND PREPARATION
Whole blood collection:
- Wash the patient's hand warm water with soap or use an alcohol wipe. Let dry. Massage your arm without touching the site of the intended puncture. Pierce the skin with a lancet. Wipe away the first drop of blood. Gently massage your hand from the wrist of your palm to your finger to form a rounded drop of blood at the puncture site. Collect a blood sample using a capillary tube (≈100μl), avoiding the formation of air bubbles. Add a sample of blood to the “S” window of the test plate using a capillary tube.
You can add a sample of whole blood to the porous test membrane directly from your finger, to do this:
- Position the patient's finger so that the drop of blood is above the "S" window of the test plate. Allow 2 drops of blood to “fall” into the “S” window of the test plate. Avoid touching your finger directly to the porous membrane. CAUTION: Drops of blood must be applied one after another to avoid clotting and drying on the porous surface.
Do not freeze whole blood specimens.
TESTING PROCEDURE
Before testing, bring the test plate components to room temperature (+15+30°C).
Remove the test plate from the packaging immediately before testing. The most reliable result will be obtained if testing is performed immediately after opening the package.
Place the test plate on a dry horizontal surface.
When using whole blood:
Add 2 drops of whole blood (≈100μl) to the “S” window of the test plate. Add to the box<>test plates 1-2 drops of buffer using a pipette, note the time. Wait until one or two purple lines appear on the test. The test result should appear within 15 minutes. Do not interpret the result after 15 minutes.
INTERPRETING THE TEST RESULT.
Positive: Two clear purple lines appear: one line in the test zone “T”, the other in the control zone “C”.
Negative: One purple line appears in control zone “C”. In the “T” test zone, the purple line does not appear.
Test error: The color line in the control zone does not appear. Most common cause Testing errors include insufficient blood sample volume and failure to follow instructions. In this case, testing should be repeated using another test plate.
Note: The intensity of the violet line in the "T" test area may vary. Therefore, any shade of purple in the "T" test area should be considered positive.
SENSITIVITY.
Using the ImmunoChrom-CARDIO-Express test, you can detect cTnI with a concentration ≥ 1.0ng/ml (positive result).
