The time of the start of World War 3. Predictions about World War III that you didn't know

In our troubled times, when the news line brings us everything every day new information about events in Ukraine, Syria or North Korea, the question increasingly arises: “Will there be a 3rd World War in 2019? This terrible event became especially noticeable after the recent bombings of the United States, France and Great Britain in Syria.

And all this is happening against the backdrop of cooling relations between the two largest powers in the world - Russia and the United States. The leaders of these states no longer restrain themselves in their expressions.

Where it all started

Experts have differing opinions on this issue. Some believe that the deterioration of relations between the United States and Russia began with V. Putin’s Munich speech. Then he condemned the American authorities for starting conflicts around the world. In 2007, the President of Russia stated that Russian Federation is no longer a weak state and therefore does not agree with a unipolar world. He also noted that the Russian state will no longer tolerate when several leading powers unjustifiably use force against other countries to solve their geopolitical problems.

At the same time, V. Putin called the policy of European states puppet. Many experts called our leader's speech the beginning of a new Cold War.

Journalist P. Brooks from America wrote at the time that Mr. Putin should be thanked. Now there is no doubt about Russia's intentions. Everything became extremely clear - the “Russian bear” decided to return.

Deterioration of relations due to Ukraine

In 2014, Russia annexed Crimea. Thus, according to some political scientists, Russia has violated its international obligations and the existing world order. This led to a new round of deterioration in relations with the West. V. Putin’s Crimean speech was again compared to the Munich speech. In it, the President of the Russian Federation said that Russia will always protect the Russian-speaking population, no matter where it is. This was regarded in Western countries as a new threat. NATO countries have become.

After this, Russia supported the liberation movement. The new republics were provided with comprehensive assistance, including military assistance. This further angered the US and Europe. Sanctions against Russia came into play. They were tied to the Minsk agreements to resolve the situation in Ukraine.

Further aggravation with the West

Then, in 2014, V. Putin’s Valdai speech took place, where he openly stated that the “Russian bear” would not give up the taiga to anyone. At the same time, he noted that some people in the world are trying to put a bear on a chain, but this will never happen.

Every year, tensions between Russia and Western countries escalated with renewed vigor. Russia never ceases to show the whole world that it is no longer a weak state and must be taken into account. In the first decade of the 2000s, the Russian Federation had enormous income from the sale of oil and gas. European countries began to depend on it for energy. At the same time, modernization of weapons took place. Russia began to supply large quantities of weapons to other countries, such as:

  • Saudi Arabia;
  • Syria;
  • Iran, etc.

Against this background, there was a war with Georgia, as a result of which the state formations of Abkhazia and South Ossetia, dependent on Moscow, appeared.

In general, the United States and NATO countries realized that the Russian Federation is not going to give up, and clearly stands for a multi-polar world, against American dictate to other states.

According to the Russian leader, US monopoly control of the entire world does not lead to anything good. There are enough states in the world that also have the right to participate in world affairs. Their industrial potential is comparable to America and the EU:

GDP of the BRIC countries Exceeds the GDP of the European Union
China and India GDP Surpasses US GDP

The situation is heating up to the limit

The United States, together with its Western partners, does not want to take into account Russia’s point of view. They are also unhappy with rapidly developing China. The last two years have shown that there are fewer and fewer points of contact with the Russian Federation. Russia, which took an active part in Iran's nuclear program in the nineties, continues to support this regime. There is quite a lot left for this state to begin producing missiles with nuclear warheads. If Russia helps this country, this could escalate tensions with Israel.

The Russian Federation also supports the North Korean regime. The leadership of this country constantly threatens Japan and the United States. Unstable conditions on the Korean peninsula could lead to difficult situations throughout the region, including:

  • Russia;
  • South Korea;
  • China;
  • and Japan.

Relations with the West were complicated by Russia's interference in the elections of the United States, Germany and France.

The last straw of patience was the incident with the Skrepal family in Salisbury. Father and daughter were poisoned with a chemical of unknown origin. Although, Western experts are sure that this is Russia’s business. The European public is seriously alarmed that harmful nerve gas, which is banned in the world, could easily get into Europe. Its exposure could endanger large numbers of people.

In connection with recent events, Western countries are also going to impose new sanctions on Russia.

Risk of World War over Syria

As is known in this country, it has been going on for several years now. Civil War. Government troops are supported by Russia, and opposition forces are supported by Western countries. The Syrian army has repeatedly used chemical weapons to suppress enemy forces. Last used his speech in the Duma caused the wrath of the world community. The US President called the leader of this country an “animal” who does not spare civilians and poisons them chemicals. In order to prevent violations of basic human rights to life, Western countries carried out targeted missile strikes on places where chemical substances were manufactured and developed.

Russia, regarding the upcoming escalation of the situation in Syria, announced the convening of the UN Security Council. She tried to urge the leaders of the main world powers not to rush into airstrikes, but to deal with the current situation. Russian experts believe that there was no chemical attack, but a staging of the desired result. An agreement was reached with the Organization for the Prohibition chemical weapons that she will arrive in the city of Duma and conduct a thorough investigation. However, the coalition of Western countries did not wait and launched strikes on Syria.

At this time, the world held its breath in anticipation of something terrible. After all, in this confrontation the Armed Forces of Russia and the United States and allies could have collided. Thus, Vanga’s predictions about the beginning of the Third World War could come true. Before her death, the fortuneteller said that there would be a confrontation between the Russian Federation and the United States, which would end in a global war. In her forecast, she clearly said that world war will happen when Syria falls.

Putin's answer

The Russian President harshly condemned the act of rocket attack on Syria, which occurred in violation of all the rules of the world community. There was no vote at the UN. The actions of the USA, Great Britain and France were not even discussed in the parliaments of these states. The Russian state, represented by V. Putin, expressed concern about the violation of the rights of a sovereign state. V. Putin called missile attacks against Syria a crime against humanity.

What historians say

Anyone who remembers the Cuban Missile Crisis of 1962 draws a parallel between it and the current missile attack on Syria. Just like 56 years ago, the world found itself on the brink of nuclear war. By pure chance, no military personnel were injured Russian army. Who knows, maybe if this happened, a military confrontation between Russia and the United States would begin. Only God knows how this could end.

At the same time, the US President said that this is not the last shelling of Syrian territory. In addition, the American authorities have already announced new sanctions against the Russian Federation for supporting the misanthropic Assad regime.

No one can say with certainty to what extent relations between the United States and Russia will worsen. God grant that everything ends with peace and negotiations in 2019.

In general, in 2019 there are still a lot of hotbeds of tension that could develop into a large-scale war:

  • Ukraine;
  • Syria;
  • DPRK;
  • Iran - Israel.

The situation of mutual distrust and alienation between the two worlds - Russian and Western - has reached such depth that both ordinary people and experts are talking about a Cold War, which is actively using a variety of tools. How did this happen? Who is to blame for what happened? And is it worth fearing that cold war could it go into the stage of a “hot” World War III? Let's deal with Irina Demchenko.

The childhood of my generation was permeated with anticipation of the Third World War. When the Cuban Missile Crisis happened, I was five years old. In the yard they played “fascists” and “partisans.” At the school where I went to study, the physical education locker rooms were located in a bomb shelter with massive iron doors. And under the ceiling there was an iron pipe for supplying oxygen.

I was an excellent shot from a small-caliber rifle, knew how to throw a dummy grenade, provide first aid, and was an excellent student in the GTO. From the ninth grade we were taught the subject “Basic Military Training,” where we were taught to quickly and correctly put on a gas mask, assemble a Kalashnikov assault rifle, and were explained where to run in the event of a nuclear war. International relationships were characterized by the expressions: “detente”, “nuclear parity” and later - "a new round of confrontation."

Decades have passed since then. The Cold War died after the era of Gorbachev's "new political thinking" began. And the shadow of World War III disappeared, it seemed, forever. Until suddenly it appeared right now, like a jack-in-the-box, sitting comfortably on TV screens and on the front pages of newspapers. The other day, a friend of mine wrote on Facebook that she taught her youngest daughter to put on a gas mask and showed her where they are kept in their house near Moscow.

How did this happen?

The West, which enthusiastically accepted the bloodless collapse of the USSR and democratic transformations in Russia (and took part in them, not without benefit for itself), began to lose interest in it since the mid-2000s. This became especially noticeable after the polonium poisoning in London of former FSB officer Alexander Litvinenko and Russia’s refusal to hand over the Russians suspected of this murder to British justice. And then after Russia's surprise invasion of Georgia in 2008, which ended with the secession of South Ossetia and Abkhazia.

However, the real break began after the annexation of Crimea in February-March 2014. Immediately after the end of the Winter Olympics in Sochi. After the seizure of the Ukrainian peninsula, the world's most economically influential countries expelled Russia from the prestigious G8 club, to which it was admitted in the 90s. At that timeIn Russia, two processes are occurring in parallel:

  • the growing rampant mistrust and increased aggression towards the West and its core liberal democratic values within their own country;
  • frank and constant aggravation of relations with Western countries in the international arena.

The first was expressed in tougher rhetoric on Russian television; organizing paid “puttings”; division of youth into “ours” (“Ours”) and strangers; creating “troll factories” to work against the opposition on social networks; launching fake news into the public space.

This time included the establishment of final and very strict control over the Russian media, both state and independent, and the placement of “verified” people at the head of almost all media.Representatives of the opposition and opposition journalists and bloggers began to be imprisoned for real long terms, and some, especially locally, were maimed and killed.On February 27, 2015, Boris Nemtsov was shot dead under the walls of the Kremlin.

In the international arena, similar processes of gradual sliding “from bad to terrible” took place. One of the targets has become international organizations, and primarily the UN, where, using its status as a permanent member of the Security Council, Russia is blocking the adoption of resolutions proposed by Western countries. Gradually turning this organization into inoperable, but at the same time insisting that the consent of this body is necessary for action in the international arena.

The harshness of the rhetoric of the Russian Foreign Ministry, and especially its Department of Press and Information, which easily introduces openly street jargon into its official statements, is growing. This is also “trolling,” but on behalf of the state.

Actively using the mistakes of the West in the international arena and the guilt complex they generate (especially for the failures in Iraq and Libya, where the destruction of dictators led to a monstrous crisis), Russia becomes the defender and patron of the Bashar al-Assad regime in Syria, where there is a long-term civil war.

The situation in Syria is more complex and multipolar than it was in Iraq and Libya, because in addition to the dictatorial government supported by the Kremlin and the cutthroat opposition supported by the West, there are ISIS and the Kurds there. Russia is seeking an invitation from Assad to take a direct part in defending his power. As a result, the Russian military finds itself on Syrian soil - the only “boots on the ground”, because other countries fight only from the sky.

In attempts to suppress the opposition, Assad uses chemical weapons banned in the world several times mass destruction- sprays gas. Knowing that he has gas reserves, US President Obama announces that the use of these weapons will be a “red line” that cannot be crossed. However, when Assad crosses it, the United States does not take any action, fearing an escalation of the international military conflict. First of all, with Putin’s Russia. During local battles, the Syrian opposition also gains access to stockpiles of chemical weapons.

Trump is impressed by Putin in many ways - the way he makes decisions unilaterally and quickly, his manner of conversation, his approaches to events in the world.

The international situation changes when Donald Trump, a man of a completely different background and character than Obama, becomes President of the United States in November 2016. Trump is impressed by Putin in many ways - the way he makes decisions single-handedly and quickly, his manner of conversation, his approaches to events in the world.

At the same time, he cannot get too close to the Russian leader, being under the suspicion of American intelligence services. They believe that the Kremlin contributed to his victory in the elections, and this fact may make it illegitimate. In addition, suspicions are spreading that Putin has dirt on Trump dating back to pre-election times.

In April 2017, Trump resets the largest American bomb– “the mother of all bombs” on the ISIS position in Afghanistan, showing the world that it is not afraid to use weapons in the Middle East. However, a year later, when gas was again used against civilians in the Syrian city of Douma, killing many children, Trump finds himself in a difficult position.

On the one hand, he is ready to bomb Assad’s troops, who are considered the most likely culprit of what happened. On the other hand, the US allies, intending to punish Assad for using prohibited weapons - Great Britain and France - are not ready to once again “change the regime” in a Middle Eastern country. They don't know in advance who will replace him. On the third and fourth sides, Russia, whose military personnel are in Syria, threatens that if any of them are hurt, it will respond with a strike not only with missiles. But also by the military means of launching them, that is, by the ships and submarines of these Western countries. In fact, this would mean the beginning of the Third World War.

Russia submits its draft resolution to a meeting of the UN Security Council; The USA, France and Great Britain are their own, and they block each other's proposals.

As a result, the allies strike three Syrian chemical weapons plants with more than 100 cruise missiles, warning Russia in advance. The Russian Chief of General Staff then reports that Syrian air defenses shot down 71 of 103 missiles. And the Pentagon and the French President say that Syrian air defenses have not intercepted a single cruise missile. The United States says the chemical plants have been completely destroyed and no more gas will be produced at their facilities. Russia calls the bombing an “act of aggression” and is calling an emergency meeting of the UN Security Council on Monday, April 16, 2018. She brings her draft resolution to this meeting. The USA, France and Great Britain are their own, and they block each other's proposals.

What is “highly likely”, and how has the West’s attitude towards Russia changed?

In 2006, he was poisoned with radioactive polonium in London. former officer FSB Alexander Litvinenko. This caused a cooling of relations between Russia and Britain, but did not lead to a break. London did not involve international organizations in the investigation of this case, and a public hearing examining the Litvinenko case took place only in 2015 - nine years later. All this time, at the very least, the leaders, Foreign Ministries and secret services of the two countries continued to communicate and exchange information - right up to annexation Russia Crimea.

In 2006, former FSB officer Alexander Litvinenko was poisoned with radioactive polonium in London. This caused a cooling of relations between Russia and Britain, but did not lead to a break.

In March 2018, in the small English city of Salisbury, he was poisoned with a nerve agent. double agent» Sergei Skripal, as well as his daughter Yulia and a local police officer.

Britain immediately raised an international scandal, accused the Russian authorities of using military products on its territory, attempting to kill civilians, and managed to gain support from more than 20 states. All of them, following Great Britain, expelled Russian diplomats and appealed to the UN and International organization on the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW) for independent expertise.

All these actions, including the refusal of all diplomatic contacts with Russia, took place against the backdrop of a pointed disregard for requests for evidence from the Russian embassy and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Why are there tough measures this time, and not only from Britain, but from such large quantity Western countries, followed on the basis of the mere conclusion of the British side that with “ high degree"highly likely" Russian leadership is directly involved in this poisoning?

Why did tough measures this time, not only from Britain, but from so many Western countries, follow based solely on the British side’s conclusion that it was “highly likely” that the Russian leadership would directly involved in this poisoning? The simple answer is because it happened for the second time, and because the attitude towards Russia in the international arena has changed. Therefore, this time the “duck test” was used to test the obviousness of what was happening, which does not require proof: “if something looks like a duck, swims like a duck and quacks like a duck, then it is probably a duck, the British say” .

There is no 100% proof that Russia requires. And in this situation it cannot be. But this does not mean that the crime should go unpunished. Russia produced Novichok, and its leadership had reason to hate Skripal, who passed on Russian secrets to Britain. Putin has publicly promised more than once that traitors to the Motherland will not go unpunished, that the money received for betrayal “will stand like a stake in their throats” - and the “duck test” passed.

In the end, many countries have abolished the death penalty as capital punishment because 100% proof cannot be obtained in most cases. OPCW specialists later confirmed that a Novichok class substance was used against the Skripals.

If something looks like a duck, swims like a duck and quacks like a duck, then it probably is a duck, the English say.

The “duck test” was also used during missile strikes on chemical weapons factories and warehouses in Syria last weekend:

  • firstly, OPCW experts had previously established that on four independent occasions Assad used poison gas against the civilian population of his country;
  • secondly, democratic countries have come to understand that if nothing is done, he will continue this practice;
  • thirdly, this time the Russian side categorically opposed the penetration of OPCW experts into the territory where chlorine was used (the conclusion about the substance was made based on analyzes of World Health Organization specialists working in this region);
  • fourthly, the Russian side insisted simultaneously that there was no attack (as in the case of the Skripals, “was there a boy?”), and that it was organized by the British and carried out by the “White Helmets” - opposition forces , with which the United Kingdom cooperates.

When justifying the need for these strikes, the British again used the expression “highly likely.”

The main task that the United States, Britain and France set for themselves in this operation was to ensure that a hair did not fall from the head of a single Russian military man in Syria. So that the Third World War does not start.

What are “sanctions” and “anti-sanctions” and how has Russia’s attitude towards the West changed?

In 2013, the United States adopted the first package of laws under the Magnitsky Act and introduced the first, still rather servile, sanctions against the most odious Russian officials and State Duma deputies, as well as some Russian companies.

Russia responds with the “Dima Yakovlev Law,” prohibiting Americans from adopting Russian orphans, and then introduces the first “anti-sanctions” by refusing foreign food products. The imported “banned” product is demonstratively crushed with bulldozers and tractors in the presence of television cameras so that it cannot be used.

As Western, and especially American, sanctions intensified following the annexation of Crimea and the outbreak of hostilities in Eastern Ukraine, anti-sanctions also intensified. They moved from food to a refusal to purchase medical equipment and means of supporting them, then medicines, and now a general refusal of “everything American” is being discussed.

They moved from food to a refusal to purchase medical equipment and means of supporting them, then medicines, and now a general refusal of “everything American” is being discussed.

After the annexation of Crimea and Russia's exclusion from the G8, the Kremlin said that it was not very interested in that format, and that the G20, with the participation of 20 most important states, was more suitable for it.

The G20 summit was held in the same 2014 in Australia. There, Putin experienced his second acute humiliation: on the first day, at lunch, he was left completely alone - none of the leaders of 20 countries sat next to him at the table he had chosen for himself. Everyone wanted to dine at the same table with Obama. Putin left this summit without waiting for its formal end.

The entire Russian international policy is aimed at proving that Western democracy, based on liberal values, does not work.

Since that time, all Russian international policy has essentially been aimed at proving that Western democracy, based on liberal values: freedom of speech, freedom of assembly and expression, freedom of movement of people and capital, respect for human rights, democratic elections at all levels power and freedom of enterprise - does not work. And it should be replaced by a Russian model, a Chinese one, or some kind of Middle Eastern one. Enormous funds coming from the sale of oil and gas and accumulated over the previous fat years are spent on promoting this.

At the same time, in its behavior in the international arena, Russia skillfully uses the tools provided by that same Western democracy: the “presumption of innocence” (and you prove it!); freedom of expression; freedom to share your point of view.

The Kremlin is almost sure that it is impossible to catch someone by the hand one hundred percent. The situation of mutual mistrust and alienation between the two worlds has reached such depth that we can say that the cold war between them is already in full swing, using various instruments. Does this mean that it can go into the stage of a “hot” Third World War?

Could the current situation lead to World War III?

The BBC recently asked this question to its experts from different countries. Noting that the Syrian conflict, as a result of the intervention of major forces in it, has turned from local to global, almost all of them responded that so far, it seems, all participants are trying their best to avoid such a scenario.

“This is perhaps the first time that huge forces have been pitted against each other in confrontation,” says Shashank Joshi, senior research fellow at the Royal United Services Institute (RUSI).

“Russia is the opposing side. She doesn’t understand us, believing that democracy is by definition a weak and ineffective form of government,” says Tom Donnelly, a defense and security analyst.

Most experts on this panel noted that for the first time in for a long time There are too many international players involved in the conflict, which are difficult for the largest of them to control and for which it is difficult to control themselves.

"This new type exacerbation of the conflict by the wrong hands,” says Lina Khatib, an expert on Middle East issues.

When asked what developments should be truly feared, Kremlin political scientist Sergei Markov said: “Killings of Russian military personnel by Americans.”

“A breakdown in communications (between the Russian and US militaries) due to a communication line cut or a cyber attack on satellites,” says international security specialist Patricia Lewis.

“The international community has ignored the Syrian conflict for too long. If we continue to sit and do nothing, this conflict will hit us before we can realize what is really happening,” said Lina Khatib.

Why is it no longer possible to “sit on the fence”?

“He sits on the fence,” the English say about someone who cannot take one side or the other. Neutrality has long been a comfort zone for many Russians. And for those who emigrated to the West and calmly arranged their lives there, avoiding falling under the evil radiation of their native television, and for those who remained in Russia, but did not forget to turn off the TV. Now this wonderful time, unfortunately, is over.

“Putin is struggling with duality. You need to choose whether you are “for” or “against”. The problem is not those who made their choice and left, but those who would like to stay in good relations both with the West and with Russia. Significant people are asked to make the final choice about who they are with. Logic leads to clearing the middle space,” says Ivan Krastev, a researcher at the Institute of Humanities (IWT, Vienna), in an interview with Republic.ru.

It is becoming increasingly difficult to be a moderate oligarch in London. You will be treated with distrust by both the Kremlin and the British state, which will check the sources of your income

The expert argues that, unlike the USSR, which nationalized property, the economy and public life, modern Russia “nationalizes” its elite, ensuring its loyalty with various tools. These are social elevators for the generation of grown-up “Our” children, who are gradually occupying high positions in state corporations and state-owned companies, and urgent invitations to political cooperation between Russian cultural and public figures, and brutal pressure on those of them who are trying to maintain independence and not associate themselves with Russian authorities. There are also promises of amnesty and calls to return addressed to those who went abroad. In fact, this is the same policy that Putin proclaimed in 2011, addressing participants in the growing protest movement in Moscow with the meme: “Come to me, Banderlogs!” Only now its reach has become much wider.

“Confrontation with the West, especially after the Skripal case, serves as an effective support in attempts to return the elite to Russia. It is becoming increasingly difficult to be a moderate oligarch in London. Both the Kremlin and the British state, which will check the sources of your income, will treat you with distrust. For those who strive to remain neutral, the world becomes extremely inconvenient,” Krastev believes.

The pre-war situation requires making a certain choice and taking sides. The USA and Great Britain are openly spoken of in Russia as “hostile countries”. In America and the United Kingdom they say the same about Russia. And this puts everyone who tried to maintain their status as a “fence sitter” in a very uncomfortable position.

Endless terrorist attacks, ongoing armed conflicts, and ongoing disagreements between Russia, the United States and the European Union indicate that peace on our planet is literally hanging by a thread. This situation is alarming for both politicians and ordinary people. It is no coincidence that the issue of starting the Third World War is being seriously discussed by the entire world community.

Expert opinion

Some political scientists believe that the mechanism of war was already launched several years ago. It all started in Ukraine, when a corrupt president was removed from office and the new government in the country was called illegitimate, and simply a junta. Then they announced to the whole world that it was fascist and they began to scare one sixth of the land with it. First, mistrust and then outright enmity were sown in the minds of the people of the two fraternal peoples. A full-scale information war began, in which everything was subordinated to inciting hatred between people.

This confrontation was painful for the families, relatives, and friends of the two fraternal peoples. It has reached the point where politicians in the two countries are ready to pit brother against brother. The situation on the Internet also speaks to the danger of the situation. Various discussion platforms and forums have turned into real battlefields where everything is permitted.

If anyone still doubts the likelihood of war, they can simply go to any social network and see the intensity of discussions on topical topics, from information about oil prices to the upcoming Eurovision Song Contest.

If it is possible to quarrel two fraternal peoples who have shared grief and victory for more than 360 years, then what can we say about other countries. You can call any nation an enemy overnight by preparing timely information support in the media and the Internet. This is what happened with Turkey, for example.

Currently, Russia is testing new methods of war using the example of Crimea, Donbass, Ukraine, and Syria. Why deploy multimillion-dollar armies, transfer troops, if you can carry out a “successful information attack”, and to top it off, send a small contingent of “little green men”. Fortunately, there is already positive experience in Georgia, Crimea, Syria and the Donbass.

Some political observers believe that it all started in Iraq, when the United States decided to remove the allegedly undemocratic president and carried out Operation Desert Storm. As a result, the country's natural resources came under US control.

Having gained a little fat in the 2000s and having carried out a number of military operations, Russia decided not to give in and prove to the whole world that it had “rose from its knees.” Hence such “decisive” actions in Syria, Crimea and Donbass. In Syria, we protect the whole world from ISIS, in Crimea, Russians from Bandera, in Donbass, the Russian-speaking population from Ukrainian punitive forces.

In fact, an invisible confrontation has already begun between the United States and Russia. America does not want to share its dominance in the world with the Russian Federation. Direct proof of this is present-day Syria.

Voltage in different points peace, where the interests of the two countries come into contact, will only increase.

There are experts who believe that tension with America is caused by the fact that the latter realizes the loss of its leading position against the backdrop of a strengthening China and wants to destroy Russia in order to take over it natural resources. They're on the move various methods weakening of the Russian Federation:

  • EU sanctions;
  • decline in oil prices;
  • involvement of the Russian Federation in the arms race;
  • support of protest sentiments in Russia.

America is doing everything to ensure that the situation of 1991, when the Soviet Union collapsed, is repeated.

War in Russia is inevitable in 2018

This point of view is shared by the American political analyst I. Hagopian. He posted his thoughts on this matter on the GlobalResears website. He noted that there are all signs of the US and Russia preparing for war. The author notes that America will be supported:

  • NATO countries;
  • Israel;
  • Australia;
  • all US satellites around the world.

Russia's allies include China and India. The expert believes that the United States is facing bankruptcy and will therefore make an attempt to seize the riches of the Russian Federation. He also emphasized that some states may disappear as a result of this conflict.

Similar predictions are made by former manager NATO A. Shirreff. For this purpose, he even wrote a book about the war with Russia. In it, he notes the inevitability of a military confrontation with America. According to the plot of the book, Russia is seizing the Baltic states. NATO countries are coming to its defense. As a result, World War III begins. On the one hand, the plot looks frivolous and implausible, but on the other hand, considering that the work was written by a retired general, the script looks quite plausible.

Who will win America or Russia

To answer this question it is necessary to compare the military power of the two powers:

Armament Russia USA
Active Army 1.4 million people 1.1 million people
Reserve 1.3 million people 2.4 million people
Airports and runways 1218 13513
Aircraft 3082 13683
Helicopters 1431 6225
Tanks 15500 8325
Armored vehicles 27607 25782
Self-propelled guns 5990 1934
Towed artillery 4625 1791
MLRS 4026 830
Ports and terminals 7 23
Warships 352 473
Aircraft carriers 1 10
Submarines 63 72
Attack ships 77 17
Budget 76 trillion 612 trillion

Success in war depends not only on superiority in weapons. As stated by military expert J. Shields, the Third World War will not be like the two previous wars. Fighting will be conducted using computer technology. They will become more short-term, but the number of victims will be in the thousands. Nuclear weapons are unlikely to be used, but chemical and bacteriological weapons, like aid it is possible.

Attacks will be launched not only on the battlefield, but also in:

  • areas of communications;
  • Internet;
  • television;
  • economics;
  • finance;
  • politics;
  • space.

Something similar is now happening in Ukraine. The offensive is on all fronts. Blatant disinformation, hacker attacks on financial servers, sabotage in the economic field, discrediting politicians, diplomats, terrorist attacks, shutting down broadcast satellites and much more can cause irreparable damage to the enemy along with military operations at the front.

Psychic predictions

Throughout history there have been many prophets who predicted the end of humanity. One of them is Nostradamus. As for world wars, he accurately predicted the first two. Regarding the Third World War, he said that it would happen due to the fault of the Antichrist, who will stop at nothing and will be terribly merciless.

The next psychic whose prophecies came true is Vanga. She told future generations that World War III would begin with a small state in Asia. The fastest is Syria. The reason for military action will be an attack on four heads of state. The consequences of the war will be terrifying.

The famous psychic P. Globa also said his words regarding the Third World War. His forecasts can be called optimistic. He said that humanity will end World War III if it prevents military action in Iran.

The psychics listed above are not the only ones who predicted World War III. Similar predictions were made by:

  • A. Ilmayer;
  • Mulhiazl;
  • Edgar Cayce;
  • G. Rasputin;
  • Bishop Anthony;

Constant global unrest forces citizens of the country to be aware of forecasts for the near future. IN to a greater extent This applies to city dwellers, but rural residents also want to know how safe it is to live in the world now. Whether there will be a third world war in 2019 or not depends on humanity, but there are clearly some prerequisites for conflicts. It remains to figure out what the likelihood of military action is and, most importantly, where it might occur.

Three military versions from experts and historians

Every year, everyone predicts, scientifically calculates or analyzes the likelihood of negative world events. In such forecasts, the Third World War is like the end of the world; total conflicts are also predicted almost every year. By 2019, 3 possible versions had matured:

  1. The war will begin between Russia and Europe.
  2. The conflict between Iran and Israel will involve many countries.
  3. Terrorist hacking will lead to a nuclear attack.

Each version has a certain basis. One might even say that it is likely that all three situations will occur simultaneously. With the same degree of probability, the absence of all three versions is possible, i.e. it will simply be the absence of a war on a global scale. At the same time about possible types the beginning of world hostilities is worth knowing in more detail so as not to panic at any plane crash or unpleasant conversation between the heads of different states.

Alleged war between Russia and NATO

A variant of a military conflict between the Russian Federation and Europe was expressed by a historian from France, Philippe Fabry. For many years, the scientist has been engaged in a retrospective analysis of various wars between states, compiling, based on the data obtained, an unusual treatise called “Atlas of Future Wars.” The researcher suggests that military action is inevitable, and there are even probable time limits. Fabry believes that the conflict will occur between 2019 and 2024, with Russia being the veiled aggressor.

The expected events will develop according to the following scheme:

  1. The Russian Federation will invade the Baltic states.
  2. NATO from Poland will decide to fight back.
  3. Cybergenia from the Kremlin are attacking military bases in Poland and Germany.
  4. Russian troops will go deeper to the west, but will not touch France, forcing it to neutrality.
  5. Next, Russia will get tired of playing the winner, so it will calm down on this.

If no one gives the Russian Federation a full-fledged rebuff at this moment, then by the end of 2024 the conflict will be settled, while the historian from the University of Toulouse does not specify what will happen next with the Baltic countries, as well as with Poland, Germany and other neighboring states.

It is worth noting that despite all the noticeable insolence of Russia, the Americans, according to Farby, remained on the sidelines. Moreover, the United States openly “abandoned” its European allies, although for many reasons it is America that would like to reduce the influence of both Russia and China. In the event of a war between the United States and Russia, through joint efforts with NATO, the chances of winning would be high, but the Frenchman assumes that this confrontation will begin later.

According to his assumptions, America will wait for a more chaotic moment in the global situation, and will also try to clear the Atlantic of submarines belonging to the Russian Federation. After this, the United States can launch nuclear strikes on China and Russia, and Farby does not specify what will trigger such a delayed reaction.

Israel and Iran will start World War III

A number of experts specializing in analyzing the situation in the Middle East suggest a high probability of an international conflict that threatens to result in a world war. The beginning of a “fight” between Iran and Israel is possible; there have already been precedents. According to analysts in 2017 and 2018, Iran is overly involved in third-party affairs, while at the same time conducting some strange political game, designed to hide obvious economic problems from the population. Behind Lately Iran was noted for 3 not so calm actions.

The first is the participation of Iranian fighters in the war in Syria. The second means support for the Lebanese Hezbollah units. The third concerns Israel directly - after an Iranian drone was intercepted over its territory in February 2018, a warning strike was launched from the “Promised Land”. This act led to a response from Syria - their air defense deliberately shot down an Israeli F-16. If the situation continues to escalate, the likelihood of other countries quickly becoming involved in the conflict may increase.

International terrorist hacking activities

Military conflicts on a global scale can result from the actions of computer viruses deliberately directed by terrorists and professional hackers. First of all, you should be wary of cyber vulnerabilities in defense, missile and other complexes of different countries. The penetration of a virus that provokes the transfer of access and control to other persons can lead to the most unpredictable events.

This option could be the beginning of the third world war in 2019. If we assume that attackers gain access to control any type of missile of any state and launch them to attack another country, then the degree of sudden outbreak of war increases almost to the point of inevitability. Nuclear warheads are especially dangerous in this case, but even conventional missiles can cause serious harm to the world. If we assume that missiles from different countries will gain access, or that they will be directed against several states, then an incredibly powerful and destructive conflict will occur. There is also the possibility of targeted viral distribution of false instructions to senior military officials by hacker attacks. This can also lead to the outbreak of war with any state planned by terrorists.

It is not known for certain whether there will be a third world war in 2019, although from the above information we can say for sure that the probability of its outbreak is quite high. No matter how events develop in the future, ordinary people We should hope for the best, and not live in fear of the potential outbreak of hostilities.

Video about the third world war

Events are actively discussed on the Internet last days in the world, which could hypothetically lead to the outbreak of World War III. On the conspiracy theorist forum, users have collected all possible facts and guesses that, in their opinion, prove the fact that the world is in danger.

World War III refers to a global military conflict. Today, questions like “will there be a Third World War and when will it start” are no longer fantastic inventions, but very real fears of citizens.

In addition, now, given the growing tension on the world stage, such questions are more relevant than ever. All the conditions in the world lead to a new extensive war. It would seem that in our time no one will ever utter the words “Third World War”, because this very concept seems to have been erased with the liquidation of the “evil empire”.

And, it seems, there is no one with whom to wage a continental struggle (as it was in the Second World War) or a nuclear one (it is assumed that this is how the Third will take place). Some people think in images and imagine the Third World War like this: trenches, cracks in the black, ash-filled earth, the “enemy” somewhere beyond the horizon...

These ideas are copied and formulated on the basis of many films and stories about the terrible and so distant war of our fathers and grandfathers. This is Great Patriotic War. Or World War II. But World War III will be different. Many are confident that a future war is already underway. The media, at least, daily and tirelessly, with the importunity of a boring fly, tell us about this. The so-called information battle.

World War III - predictions when it will happen

A world war is fertile ground for reflection and predictions. Whose guesses are closest to reality?

The most famous predictor, of course, is Vanga, whose prophecies come true with a high degree of probability. According to her, an international conflict is to be expected, but it will take place without the use of nuclear weapons. The war will begin due to actions in the Middle East (Syria), and Russia will emerge victorious, taking a dominant position in the world.

Another high-profile prediction was made at one time by the French astrologer Nostradamus. In his characteristic form, he hinted at a confrontation that would take place in one of the Islamic states using nuclear weapons.

The soothsayer Jean Dixon saw the cause of discord in the search for new territories for China. Dixon emphasized that China would conquer all of Asia, as well as part of Russia, continuing its march in the Middle East.

In May 2015, the famous American billionaire George Soros said literally the following:

“If there was a clash between China and a US military ally such as Japan, it would not be an exaggeration to say that we would be on the verge of a third world war.”

Soon, similar judgments were made by the Commander-in-Chief of NATO Allied Forces in Brunsum (Netherlands), Hans-Lothar Domroese.

These statements coincide in meaning with the predictions of Western prophets made in the 1950-1970s and concerning 2016 and beyond.

Moreover, in the prophecies of clairvoyants, as in Soros’s forecast, Russia is assigned the role of “China’s flank ally” invading Europe. We mention these prophecies as a kind of paranormal artifact, illustrating the inescapable fear of the West of the “unpredictable Russian bear.”

Veronica Luken gained fame in the United States as one of the most beautiful fortune tellers of all peoples and times. As for the accuracy of her prophecies, it was not possible to verify it: most were made in 1976-1978 and assigned by the clairvoyant to 2015-2020. It is interesting that when predicting the Third World War for these years, Veronica did not use Aesopian language in the style of Nostradamus or the same Irlmayer.

“Three numbers: two eights and a nine,” is the only mysterious phrase that Luken never bothered to explain.

Otherwise, Veronica, an ordinary housewife in life, operated on the directions of the main attacks, the number and names of military groups, like an experienced general.

The beginning of World War III in October 2017 - who predicted

Controversial fortune teller and self-proclaimed "messenger of God" Horatio Villegas has revealed when World War III will begin. Back in 2015, a Portuguese clairvoyant predicted the victory of billionaire Donald Trump in the US elections. However, despite hitting the bull's eye, the prophet and his predictions continue to be mocked online.

This time Villegas decided to talk about the Third World War, the beginning of which all clairvoyants on the planet are trying to guess.

Self-proclaimed “messenger of God” Horatio Villegas claims that it will all start with a US attack on Syria, the Daily Star reports.

Villegas believes that nuclear war will begin in the days when Christians celebrate the centenary of the appearance of the Virgin Mary in Fatima. It is worth noting that the words of the “prophet” are perceived quite sharply now, when the United States and North Korea are exchanging hostile attacks, flexing their nuclear muscles.

Horacio Villegas actually predicted Donald Trump's victory back in 2015, saying then that the millionaire would become the "King of the Illuminati" who would "bring peace to World War III."

“I saw people running everywhere, trying to hide from the fireballs that were falling from the sky. They symbolize nuclear missiles that will fall on cities and people around the world,” says the clairvoyant.

The “Messenger of God” claims that World War III will begin before October 13th. “It was on this day, according to Catholic faith"Our Lady visited a village in Portugal to warn people that if her requests for Russia to be converted to Christianity are not met, God will use this country to harm the world," the Daily Star said.

Villegas also said that in his research he used the predictions of Nostradamus, who, in particular, wrote: “Mabus will soon die, and then a terrible destruction of people and animals will come. We will immediately see revenge, thirst, hunger when the comet passes.” According to Horatio, "Mabus could be Syrian President Bashar al-Assad."

“If Assad is bombed and killed, this will mean that the prophecy is coming true,” the seer concluded.

Well, let's see how true this prediction turns out to be. Despite the fact that Trump and Kim Jong-un continue to exchange threats, the likelihood that one of them will sacrifice millions of lives and still press the “red button” is not as great as Horatio would like.
