Today I want to bring to your attention a very simple, but no less tasty salad with smoked sausage, croutons and corn. The fact is that it is prepared in literally 10-15 minutes from simple ingredients that are accessible to everyone, and does not require a high level of culinary skill at all, because the processes are all elementary. All you need is the ability to cut food beautifully and a good mood!
I don’t even remember how this recipe appeared in my culinary notebook. This was probably a very long time ago, because the set of products is, one might say, “not modern,” but the taste of the finished dish is very pleasant and piquant. Of course, I don’t prepare such a salad for a banquet table, but appetizers for a home dinner probably couldn’t be better.
I especially like the original combination of products, because the main ingredient in the dish is smoked sausage, and to it I add fresh cucumbers, which add freshness, boiled eggs and sweet corn for tenderness, and wheat croutons for piquancy and originality. As a dressing, I use different sauces - either store-bought mayonnaise, sour cream or natural yogurt.
The salad is served in a traditional way - I mix the chopped ingredients in a salad bowl with sauce, sprinkle with finely chopped herbs and green onions.
The recipe is for 4 servings.

Ingredients:

- smoked sausage (Cervelat type) - 150 g,
- sweet corn - 100 g,
- chicken table egg - 3 pcs.,
- cucumber – 1-2 pcs.,
- onion (green) or parsley and dill - a couple of sprigs,
- crackers - 100 g,
- sauce (mayonnaise) - 100 g.

Step-by-step recipe with photos:

Wash the cucumbers and cut into strips.

Peel the smoked sausage and cut into thin slices. It is important that all ingredients are carefully cut into the same shape.

Wash and chop the onion.

Boil chicken eggs hard for 8-10 minutes. It is important to start counting the time from the moment the water boils, then we can definitely say that the eggs will be cooked to the consistency we need. Cool them in cold water, peel and cut them.

Mix sausage, eggs and cucumbers in a salad bowl.
Open the can of sweet corn, drain the liquid and add the corn to the salad.

Add homemade wheat croutons or store-bought crackers. In principle, croutons are easy to prepare yourself - cut the loaf slices into medium cubes, mix with salt and spices and dry in the oven until golden brown.

Next, mix with the sauce and place in a presentable salad bowl. I advise you to see how it is prepared
