Voronezh State University of Justice admissions committee. Central branch of the Russian State University of Justice (Russian State University of Justice)

The Academy of Justice in Voronezh is one of the most prestigious educational institutions in the region. Many applicants dream of a future career as judges, prosecutors and heads of executive authorities. But is everything really so rosy? Let's try to figure it out together.

What specialties can you master?

The Voronezh Academy of Justice is a branch of a federal university, which indicates the unified nature of the educational program. According to the plan, all regions should teach the same way.

At the department of secondary vocational education you can obtain the specialty “Law and organization of social security”. The main emphasis in teaching students will be on the nuances of pension and social legislation. It’s quite easy to get a specialty, but what to do with it afterwards is a real mystery. Of course, there are those who dream of a career in a pension fund, but something tells me that there are not very many such people.

For bachelors and masters there are two specialties - law and forensic science.

That is, the Voronezh Academy of Justice provides a classical legal education with the qualification of “lawyer”.

How to proceed

There are traditionally no budget places at the Russian Academy of Justice in Voronezh. All students study on a commercial basis.

However, paying is not enough. The applicant must pass the Unified State Exam and score the minimum required number of points in three subjects: Russian language, history and social studies. The passing score changes periodically, but on average you need to score 36-46 points in each subject. It is better to clarify operational information with the admissions committee.

Among other things, applicants are subject to entrance examinations in the specified subjects. However, they take the form of an interview, and the examiners show amazing loyalty to future students.

Is it possible to transfer

Many law students at other universities, due to circumstances or unusual conditions, fail to cope with particularly difficult subjects and end up expelled.

In this case, the Voronezh Academy of Justice may accept the expelled student. To do this, you just need to submit an application for transfer and pass entrance tests in the form of an interview on the theory of state and law.

It is worth noting that this university is very popular with students who cannot devote much time to study. In other words, studying here is quite easy, and the attitude of the teachers remains favorable even to the most careless students.

Training pitfalls

Like any university, the Voronezh Academy of Justice has its pros and cons. Unfortunately, there are more of the latter.

The main advantage is that studying is quite useful for work. Most of the teachers are practicing lawyers who teach practically applicable things. For example, only here they teach office management and the etiquette of creating official documents, which baffles young lawyers.

As for the disadvantages, the main one is that the university should teach how to do science, but the Academy of Justice has problems with this. A large number of practitioners among the teaching staff deprives training of the scientific aspect, and this, in turn, does not allow the future lawyer to critically perceive existing legislation. This means that the academy annually graduates legal artisans who know how to apply the law, but are unable to fully analyze it.

Well, the main problem of the academy is that students’ dreams of becoming a judge can be dashed against the rocks of reality. Qualification commissions take education at the academy with little seriousness. Therefore, if you are planning a career in the judiciary, it is better to graduate from a state university.
